Company Description
Every year, millions of seniors lapse or surrender their life insurance policies for little or no value in return from their insurance company. Life Settlements help seniors by giving them the option to sell their policy instead, receiving significantly more value than had they otherwise given up their policy. The money we pay seniors helps meet retirement needs, healthcare costs, long term care expenses, or whatever else they’d like.
Lighthouse Life is a member of the growing group of companies owned by LHL Strategies, Inc. Our atmosphere encourages innovation and collaboration throughout the organization. We promote a healthy work-life balance and have created an open and fun environment. That said, we are driven to exceed expectations and want to share our days with those who raise their hand, step forward, and work hard.
Our compensation package is highly competitive for the position and includes comprehensive benefits as well as a flexible and generous PTO policy.

Job Description
Account Executives are the front line of the Lighthouse Life experience, guiding policyowners and referral partners through the process of qualifying life insurance policies for possible sale, negotiating offers for the policies, and executing the formal transaction. You’ll serve as a trusted liaison to customers navigating what is often an unfamiliar and deeply personal financial decision. You’ll also help partners educate themselves on our entire process, determine how to find candidates, manage expectations throughout the transaction process. This role demands sharp organizational skills, genuine empathy, and the confidence to manage multiple cases simultaneously while delivering a best-in-class client experience.
Responsibilities
- Respond to inbound inquiries from consumers exploring a life settlement with Lighthouse Life — this is not a cold-calling role.
- Build relationships with B2B partners who can help supply your pipeline with qualified opportunities.
- Own the full case lifecycle: gather policy illustrations, in-force documents, medical authorizations, and all supporting materials needed to appraise a life insurance policy.
- Conduct medical interviews with insured individuals, handling sensitive conversations with professionalism and care.
- Keep policyowners and insureds informed at every stage of the appraisal and purchase process through clear, proactive communication.
- Manage your pipeline within Lighthouse Life’s CRM, ensuring every case is meticulously documented from intake through funding.
- Collaborate with internal sales and operations teams to move cases efficiently toward resolution.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with external partners including life insurance agents and financial advisors.
- Take on additional responsibilities as needed to support a seamless policy purchase experience
Knowledge and Experience
- Preferred two years of professional experience; background in financial services or life insurance is a strong plus.
- An ability to absorb and apply detailed policies and procedures quickly.
- A natural eye for detail — you notice when something doesn’t add up and you dig until you find the answer.
- A bias toward action and creative problem-solving.
- Self-motivation that doesn’t depend on someone looking over your shoulder.
- The ability to juggle multiple active cases without letting anything slip through the cracks.
- A client-first mindset — you’d rather do right by a customer than force a deal that isn’t in their best interest.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft 365, and Zoom a plus.
